Okay, so imagine you're a fellow TTRPG enthusiast, right? This eBook, "Kate Plays: 2025.1," is basically a collection of my favorite ramblings and practical ideas from my Substack from early 2025 (specifically until April).

It's packed with stuff I genuinely find useful or thought-provoking, like a super handy generic oracle for solo play (complete with a neat 3d6 danger table!), a quick-and-dirty dungeon generator for when you just want to get rolling, and some thoughts on why in-game failure can actually be awesome for storytelling.

There's also stuff on making magic items more than just stat sticks, a bonkers 10-d10 world-gen tool if you need a setting now, and even my slightly controversial take on why the specific system you're using might not be the most important thing. Honestly, it's just a bunch of ideas, tables, and musings from one dice-slinger to another, hoping to spark some fun or fresh perspectives for your games!
